Longtime entrepreneur Larry Friedlan's experience
with chocolate began in his own kitchen, making treats as Christmas
gifts for friends, family, and business associates. He found it
was therapeutic to create something that would give others such
joy. Eventually, making these indulgences turned into a business
that shipped chocolates all over the world. Friedlan took great
pride in turning out more than 300 original chocolate products and
26 different types of fudge. His chocolate was proclaimed the World's
Best Chocolate in 1986 at the Rosemont Convention Center in
Chicago by all attendees.
His Old Tyme Chocolate Cookbook gives everyone
access to his mouth-watering, unique recipes. It was written with
passion for the chocolate connoisseur who wants to make a truly
gourmet chocolate in his or her own kitchen. The book gives both
neophyte and veteran cooks the secrets they need to make chocolate
like the professionals. "Friends and family will be amazed
by truffles, cakes, and pies that look and taste like an expert
created them," says Friedlan. "And the fun in making them
will create lasting memories."
